Andrew’s natural strength and aggression mean he fears no-one and challenges everyone. Capped by Ireland schools and U21, Trimble burst onto the Ulster scene in 2005 making his senior Ireland test debut the following November against Australia. In 2006 he received the accolade ‘Ulster Rugby Player of the Year’ and has gone on to develop his exciting and powerful lines of attack, backed up by a sterling defence.
His form last season may have dipped slightly but this season he looks to be back to he best. Excellent performances for Ulster in the European cup and Magners League have earned him a call-up to the senior squad for the Six Nations
