 Felix Jones made his international debut during Ireland's RWC warm-up game against France in Bordeaux on 13th August 2011. A formidable runner with ball in hand, Jones looked set to make his international test debut for Ireland during the 2010 Six Nations but a serious neck injury sustained whilst playing for Munster sidelined the powerful young player for the remainder of that year.

A dilligent rehab and Jones returned to action for his province in September 2010 against Aironi in the Magners League
