Educated at Clognowes Wood College SJ, Fergus is a by product of the very successful Leinster Rugby Academy. He has represented Leinster and Ireland at U19, U21 and ‘A’ level. He has also represented the Irish Universities against England. This season he has been in impressive form for Leinster where he has made 9 appearances so far. McFadden has a strong turn of speed which enables him to make gainline breaks at will. Certainly one of the rising stars of Irish rugby.
