Ian Dowling hails from Kilkenny and cut his teeth with Kilkenny RFC before moving to Shannon. He has represented Ireland in Rugby League and at Ireland A level. He is called into the senior squad on the back of some very impressive appearences in the Heineken Cup for Munster last season. He has represented Ireland in Rugby League and at Ireland A level. Ian made his senior debut against Canada in the summer of 2009.
