    A member of the 2004 Blackrock College Leinster Junior cup winning team, Ian went on to represent Leinster and Ireland schools, Ireland U19, U20 & A. He made his Leinster debut in 2009 as a replacement against the Dragons.

    His breakthrough season was 2011/12 when he scored 3 trys in the opening 5 games of the season and in the 2012 Heineken Cup final he threw the pass that set up Sean Cronin's try. Ian was awarded the Leinster Young Player of the year award in 2012

    He represented Ireland 'A' against the England Saxons in 2012 and his rich form has seen him once again called into the Ireland squad. An astute player with pace and accuracy from the kicking tee make Ian a massive addition to any squad.
