The diminutive Mr Stringer may be the smallest man in the Ireland squad, but his outstanding performances far outweigh his deceptive guise.
Peter made his senior international debut against Scotland in 2000, and has spent the best part of a decade on the front line.
Ireland’s most-capped scrum half, Stringer was a pivotal member of the Irish team for the Triple Crown wins in 2004, 2006 and 2007 and has played in three Heineken Cup finals with Munster scoring that memorable try against Biarritz in 2006.
