Honours: 35 Ireland caps Test debut v New Zealand Summer tour 2012

Born in Cork and educated at PBC Simon entered the Munster Academy right out of school. After a year in the Academy Simon was offered a full time contract at the start of the 2011/12 season and he went on to make his Heineken Cup debut that season.

Simon has represented Munster and Ireland at U18 and U20 levels and made his first start in an Ireland senior jersey against the Barbarians in May 2012, and scored a superb try. This was an uncapped game but Zebo showed his international class.

Simon made his first Test start against New Zealand in June 2012 starting on the wing against the All Blacks. His second test start was against South Africa where he played Full Back and was by far one of Ireland's most threatening players on that day. His deceptive pace sees him beat the first line defence with superb counter strike runs which opposition find hard to read.

A Hattrick of trys against Racing Metro helped Munster secure a place in the knockout stages of the 2012/13 Heineken Cup.

Simon received a late call up to the British & Irish Lions squad and played his part in securing a series win against Australia in 2013
