The Irish Rugby Football Union is pleased to announce the signing of another international player with the news that Ronan O’Gara has committed to a new Ireland international contract that will see him playing in Ireland for a further two seasons up to 2013.
The Ireland team to play New Zealand in the third game of the Guinness Series 2010 shows eleven changes from the side that defeated Samoa last weekend but just two forced changes from the team who were defeated by South Africa at the start of the series.

Today via a video conference at Heathrow and Dublin an independent Six Nations disciplinary committee, chaired by Roger Morris (Wales), heard a citing complaint against Donnacha Ryan of Ireland for stamping on an opponent contrary to Law 10.4 (b) of the Laws of the Game arising out of the match played between Ireland and Samoa at The Aviva Stadium, Dublin on 13 November 2010.
2010 is not to be a vintage year for Irish Rugby but it makes a nice score line as Ireland won a match at last, beating Samoa by 20-10 in the “new” Aviva Stadium.
Following the game against Samoa at the weekend, there were the normal high level of bumps and bruises but no mjajor injuries to report.
